This is a stunning rare antique Victorian gold filled etched heart large locket with paste stones. The back is engraved with the initials MLM in beautiful script. Inside are the original photos of a handsome couple. I love to imagine the history behind this locket, its lovely original owner and her timeless love story.
Locket is approximately 1.20″ in diameter.
I love to call these antique pieces “perfectly imperfect”- they have passed through many hands and many lives and bear the marks of such adventures.
I am fascinated with jewelry from the past- particularly lockets and fobs. These items were worn every day and held so much meaning to their owners. I am pleased to pass them on to a new life- to be cherished once again.
