Description
This is an antique finely hand carved cameo pendant/brooch framed in 800 silver featuring an elegant woman in profile. Sardonyx shell is the most highly prized shell used for cameos and it is know for its rich dark brown color and bright white layer that is revealed with carving.

I love to call these antique pieces “perfectly imperfect”- they have passed through many hands and many lives and bear the marks of such adventures.
I am fascinated with jewelry from the past- particularly lockets and fobs. These items were worn every day and held so much meaning to their owners. I am pleased to pass them on to a new life- to be cherished once again.
