Description
This is a stunning antique Victorian gold filled celestial themed star and crescent moon large locket with paste stones. Only the end stones show a bit of darkening, the rest are relatively bright. The gold has a rosy tone. The back of the locket is hand engraved with initials- What a wonderful way to honor the past.
The locket has the two original pictures rings and is in what i consider excellent antique preowned condition.
I love to call these antique pieces “perfectly imperfect”- they have passed through many hands and many lives and bear the marks of such adventures.
I am fascinated with jewelry from the past- particularly lockets and fobs. These items were worn every day and held so much meaning to their owners. I am pleased to pass them on to a new life- to be cherished once again.
