Description
Exquisite one of a kind antique Maltese Cross locket repurposed with the words “I Carry You in my Heart”. The locket has removable decorative paper which holds a spot for picture of the loved one that you “carry in your heart”. This Locket has paste stones which are relatively bright and a opal type stone in the center.
I love to call these antique pieces “perfectly imperfect”- they have passed through many hands and many lives and bear the imperfect flawed beauty of age and time.
I am fascinated with jewelry from the past- particularly lockets and fobs. These items were worn every day and held so much meaning to their owners. I am pleased to pass them on to a new life- to be cherished once again.
No antique lockets were harmed during the making of the In My Heart collection. All lockets can be easily returned to their original state. I remove all pictures, picture frames and picture covers (if they were found with the locket) and i will include these precious parts with the purchase of an In My Heart locket.
In My Heart locket images are not waterproof or water resistant. Please avoid all contact with water- such as swimming, showering or bathing.
